All destinations you can fly to from Malta directly (updated schedule for May 2021)

Flight schedules from Malta airport are continuously updated due to covid restrictions and lower demand than expected. Therefore many of the originally planned routes and connections are changed or even cancelled. We try to keep you up posted where you can fly to from Malta, which airlines you need to check, and what frequency is planned.

Disclaimer: We checked the official Malta airport timetable as well as directly with the airlines. Unfortunately it’s still very common to change routes or cancel destinations on short notice or sometimes without announcement at all. If you see a destination missing or find a cancelled or postponed route please let us know in the comments below.

Also some flights are planned to start by end of May and you can even book them already. That doesn’t automatically means that they will fly from the announced day. The airline might still postpone the start if the demand is low or restrictions still prevent people from flying.

There are more destinations you can fly to if you book a connecting flight of course. Please keep in mind that you only have the full passenger rights if you book the whole journey on the same ticket ideally direct with one airline. Ryanair and other low-budget airlines don’t offer this kind of connections. Which also means that you might need to leave the transit area to pick-up your luggage and check-in for the next flight. Depending on the airport layout and the covid restrictions in the country you might need additional time, documentary or test certificates to do so.
